after church...went out with my long time friend (known each other for about 15 years!), Pam..

and her boyfriend, daniel, rach, moses.

we went to lunch at Kingfisher...

then we went to 1B... =)

yes....Christmas shopping! that was our excuse la.

The Christmas atmosphere is everywhere.

shop shop shop.

we walked alot today. back and forth 1B...

and miraculously, i did not buy anything for myself!

see.....self control level is rising. =P

only bought a pressie for brother. 

wow...i'm so impressed with myself. =D

after shopping a bit...

went to Secret Recipe to rest!

Moses belanja me a drink and cake! yumms.

then we went to take pics...

with the "snow". haha...

who knew that my best friend from Tawau.. (known Pam since 3 years old)

would be my darling rach's cousin!

enjoyed today alot.

we got to talk about the past.... about Tawau.

hehe.. quite miss the good old days..when we were YOUNG. =.=

after dinner... we went to 1B to SHOP!!

but i did manage to find some stuff for friends and family.

last day of DEYC 09!!

yesterday was the last day of camp!

i wasnt a participant..but i was so tired!

helped to serve breakfast as usual.

then went to the cafeteria to eat and just hang out while waiting for lunch.

then i dropped by the session just before lunch time.

after serving lunch, had rehearsal for 1min2fame.

then went home and rested and showered...

i helped Jon host the 1 Minute to Fame..

the participants can perform anything for one minute.

it was really fun hosting it... =)

and i'm really impressed with some of them.

they can dance/sing/etc so well!

after that...i had to count and see the results.

the Tawau Boyz won first place with their MJ dance.

i was very happy with the results. haha... 

the Closing Ceremony at night was so full of energy.

i could tell many people didnt want to go home.

hehe....

after it all... went to Tanjung Aru with the FCC team, Hao, JT and Rai-rai.

got home... slept so well!

got to go Christmas shopping!!

youth camp.

nope.

this year i didn't join youth camp.

why??

#1. none of my friends from Tawau or KK (my age) were joining.

#2. kinda lazy... =X

so i just helped out..

during meals and games.

yesterday..... we had to blow 500 balloons for a game. 

i am quite scared of balloons....because sometimes they exploded in my face.

well, one way to get over the phobia is to do it...500 times!!! 

so yeap....we succeeded. =D

see? isnt it pretty? 

he was afraid of balloons too.

but he overcame it.. haha. 

glad to see lots of familiar faces at camp.

all the little kids from Tawau are all grown up and taller than me!

fun to catch up with them....

going again tonight....

and will see Betty too! yay....

Peppermint & Luna Rosa.

it is Sunday once again.

service was great. Nat is back... missed her so much. 

After service... had a fun lunch with Sammy, Winston, Moses, Tabby, Hao, my brothers and a boy called Adrian. We went to Peppermint. The beef noodles was nice.

I found out it is owned by Anneliese's family...a student from ASAA. Quite glad to see her today....miss her and the other students so much. Really cant wait to go back to work again. 

Then came home and rested. 

At night, family went to eat dinner at Luna Rosa.

Christmas Tree...

today was a quiet day.

spent the whole morning watching my fav tv shows. =D

then i decorated our Christmas Tree.

i love these tiny baubles. 

while decorating the tree... by myself!!

i kept thinking and wondering...

WHY a tree during Christmas...? why not a cactus or something? lol.

and who on earth started this tradition?

hmmmm...

one of the stories i found out said that this tradition was started......

those of you who hate history you can sleep now.

and he cut it down...and a fir tree grew in its place.

so yesterday, 

Tabby and I made a cheesecake. 

for my dad's birthday.. 

it was a success! haha... considering it was our first time making baked cheese cake.

then, after lunch.... we went to Tanjung Aru Beach Hotel. 

why? for fun... and to take pics.

no one kicked us out...cuz i think we looking like tourists. haha. 

first we took pics indoors around the hotel. 

then we went to the swimming pool n the beach. 

so hot!! luckily we had tons of sunblock.

it's another day gone by

i enjoyed my lunch with Betty Babe just now.

we laughed alot as usual.... 

always have a good mood when i'm around her and rach. 

i dont know why but the three of us always seem to understand each other so well.

and we have one thing in common.. no..no. TWO.

#1. we LOVE to laugh... at absolutely ANYTHING. really... we can laugh all night long and still laugh till morning. =P

#2. we like to gawk at hot guys. heheheeee.. well, so does every other teen girl i guess. 

i have cell group later!

yay...the highlight of the middle of the week. haha.

i LOVE mondays cuz that's the first day of school every week... (during school time i mean.)

i LOVE saturdays cuz it's the weekend! i love work...but i do need rest too. =P

but i totally LOVE wednesdays...cuz i can meet my cellies and have a great time with them.

December is finally here!

dropped by to see the closing of the Children's Worship Conference.

it was amazing...

so many kids. and the songs were so fun. 

met may people from Tawau.... the aunties still looking the same. the kids all so so tall now!

wow.....reminds me that i have not been back to my home town in ages. =S

hmmm... mom treated us to Little Italy for dinner.. =D

tomorrow's plans...have crashed and been bashed up... but the show must go on! i have now a plan B and C!!

traffic jam!!!

i had a dentist appointment today.

it was at 4.30pm...so i left church at 4pm. plenty of time right??

since the dentist is SO near... Api Api only mah. can reach within 10 minutes....normally.

but...today!

aiyoyo.......

it took me ONE HOUR...just to drive from church to Api Api.

and i hadn't even stepped into the clinic after one hour. 

sighh..

i really don't know WHY there was such a big jam today.... 

i got so frustrated...... my legs were tired, i couldn't feel my butt, my hands were hanging lifeless on the steering wheel.....

thank goodness for Hitz.FM!!!! otherwise i would have gone crazy inside the car.....alone for one hour...and barely moving!

sigh. i have never been in a traffic jam like this before...!

i was very late for my appointment.. =S 

but Doctor R. was very fast & i was out of the clinic within 15 minutes!

phew....

and luckily....it only took me 5 minutes to drive from Api Api back to church.

if i had to sit in the car for another hour...i tell you! i would have exploded!

apart from that...i'm am totally enjoying my holiday! 

going out with friends...watching movies....on my laptop the whole day...reading books....watching endless hours of tv... just some of my favorite holiday activities. =P

yes, i do miss my kids and the busy-ness of work...but sometimes, lying at home eating chocolates all day while watching tv is just so.......satisfying and relaxing. =D

Yesterday was my darling Rach's birthday!!

hehe..

i woke up so early to bake her a cake. 

her specially ordered M&Ms cake. =)

yes, i love ya enough to wake up to bake your cake, babe!!! 

so many things happened within few hours. and me and her got a bit upset over some things..

but the celebration still went on. =P

we went to Pit Stop.

and of course..ordered the huge pizza.

after lunch..i went back to work....

meetings meetings....

went home.. rest!!!

night.... dinner at my house. 

kuan brought me to TA to buy leong fun susu. =D

it was either that or Yoyo la. hehee...

then came home...n we did some recording.

ASAA Award's Night!!

Award's night!!

wow... started the day very early... 7.30am.. practices!

my dear Nat... aiyo. she broke her ankle while practicing dance!

so she came to Award's night with crutches!! aikssss...

in the afternoon...went to the saloon.

then came home.. tried to sleep. but couldnt!!

too excited about the night.

arrived at 6pm...

did my girls' hair and make up..

they danced so well.

parent's conference, practice, and trimming....

woke up early.....

had Parent's Conference today.

was quite nervous... first time to give the reports to the parents.

hmm..but it went very well. =)

then a short staff meeting....

dance practice.....

then helped out and played in JLC.

doing the decoration for Award's Night.. which is tomorrow!!!

excitement is rising. hehe...

4.30pm... kuan and i went to the dentist. 

i sat in the chair..i thought Dr was just going to check our braces.

but who knew!! he took out the drill.

AHHHHHHHHHH! i terus sat up in the chair. =X

he was going to "trim" out teeth.

EEEEK!

it felt like an eternity...but eventually, the drilling stopped.

i could breathe again. 

now i'm home.

it's raining....

so so hungry.

cant wait for dinner time.
