well..... i was supposed to fly away this Friday.
but things change.... =X
will only fly off on the 3rd of October. >.<

not sure to be happy or sad.
i have already packed all my clothes. =.=
now my flight is postponed.......i gotta take them out again! gahhh.. ma fan oh!
plus, everyone will be asking why am i still here. that's the most annoying part. gotta answer the same question a hundred times....................... zzzzzzz.... 

anyway, at least i have more time here. my tears can be pushed back 11 days. haha..

don't know why this is happening....but will just accept it and just go later lor. i'm sure there is a reason for everything.

yes, i know UK is not a kampung kinda place...i'm sure you can buy Milo there..

but.......some stuff just taste better being "Made in Malaysia". XD

and the games crazy!

played dodgeball and tele-match during the two days. 

managed to get closer to our team during those times. 

the food at DYAC was so yummy too.. hehe. best camp food so far. XP

other than that, spent free time playing and spending time with friends.

on the last night, we had Happy Hour.

everyone dressed up in formal dinner wear.

well well well...

another day out in the city of KL today.

met up with Sam at KLCC. 

did not buy anything...except for make up and books. >.<

what a strange girl i am..

went for lunch at the food court.

Chicken Teppanyaki.. which was recommended by Rai Rai. 

very tasty oh...and healthy too cuz got alot of vege. XD

then we walked around KLCC.... to Kinokuniya. 

such a huge bookstore. so many novels to choose from! 

heeee... so many books by my fav authors::

Sophia K., Marian K., Rachel G., Nicholas S., etc....

XD 

walked some more around KLCC. 

then we decided it was time for dessert.

ice cream... enjoyed to the max! 

tired.

so we went home early.. at about 3.45pm....went to the LRT station.

train was SO full but we managed to squeezed into the train.

why not moving ah?

15 minutes later. 

the train is still not moving.

=.=

everyone in the train was hot and fidgety. 

FINALLY....it starts to move.

but stops at the next station for about 10 minutes again!! 

=.= wth.

then ah.....i was supposed to get off at Masjid Jamek to change train mah.

mana tahu!!!!! they decided to skip my station n not stop at it. 

GAH!!! 

so i had to get off at the next stop, and wait for the train to go back to MJ. 

grrrrrrrr.... waited for 20 minutes then only the train came. 

sigh. headache.

finally sampai MJ station...then took another train back to PWTC.

finally reached home after 1 and 1/2 hour of traveling. 

normally the journey would only take about half an hour eh!

at night, aunty n uncle brought me out to eat bak kut teh.

so much KL, so little time..

today, went out with Tim, Victor and Darren.

they brought me to Sungei Wang, Lot10 and Berjaya Times Square! 

well well..first stop was to eat la of course! 

for the first time,...i ate a pork burger. 

oh goodness it was awesome!! 

MUST MUST try.... 

i basically just tagged along with them.

today, the GUYS did the shopping not me. 

i did not have anything to buy...so followed them. 

we went to many many TOY shops. hehe... 

they bought...alot of toys. 

let's just say the amount they bought, can buy...hmmm....3 or 4 pairs of shoes. 

other than buying toys and eating.. what else did we do?

watch those crazy people riding the indoor roller coaster la of course. 

quite scary just standing underneath and watching the roller coaster zoom past over my head. =S 

it was raining very hard in KL by 3pm.... 

decided to go back to Lot10 to makan cendol. yumm yummm.... 

then back to Tim and Darren's house.

we all took short nap. haha... hunting for toys is no easy task ok.

we were all knocked out.

Sam arrived and we went out to a pasar Ramadan to buy FOOD.

yes, it was time to eat...again!!! XD 

brought the food back home. 

what a feast hor!

we had, chicken n beef satay, legor, lemang, martabak, chicken, and the dessert was a kuih-something...(forgot the name dy. =X) 

haha...we managed to sapu almost everything laa.. 

we were all so FULL! 

after dinner....Julian joined us. and picked up Grace.

went to the Curve to watch movie.

now, back home....

time for bed!! 

phew....... i have had a taste of KL all right. =D

and it tastes delicious.. hahahaha. 

had tons of fun today. lots of laughs and of course, great food.

today seems like the slowest day ever! 

finally got my CAS number. so i went to do my visa today...

oh goodness...i got there...there were so many people! 

waited for 4 hours...and it still wasn't my turn!! =.=

finally, my number was called.

jumped up... but then they just quickly check my documents then sent me up to another floor..

great...got another number. waited again. about 2 hours.... zzzzzzz.

finally handed up the forms and documents, then waited a while to do biometrics.

finally could go home.

what a long day. sat for 6 hours.... >.<

got out from the building, went to buy McD cuz i was starving...

glad to be back at aunty n uncle's house. 

resting now...

tomorrow going out! 

yay.....

well, i am at KL now.
will be stuck here for the whole week trying to get my visa done. >.<

what do i do here? alone......hmmm. maybe some solo shopping trips would be fun? it's mega sales right now! it's in my Malaysian blood to take every advantage of SALES. haha...

gotta find my way around this city though.... not familiar with KL at all and haven't been here in 6 years. dont know where to go.
but it's pretty exciting......staying a few days here by myself.
hoping to meet up with Ju, and bro when they are free too.

random updates...

this post will be really random.

don't really know what to write... but since tonight i am quite free tonight... so here goes.

well,... almost everyday i hear this question.

"So....when are you going to study?"

=.= gahhh.... i hear it everyday....sometimes from the same people. and i give the same answer. don't know how many hundreds of times already. =X

well...i honestly don't know when i am going off to study.

i feel so so...OLD. haha... 19 already and not even started my university life!

well since i couldnt get into SG...i'm trying to apply to Australia...hoping England too. not sure where i will end up going to study or when i will be going. =S might be this year..might be next year. it's all so unplanned and uncertain. sigh.... i hate that. i don't like being unsure and i hate it when things are last minute and unplanned!

i'm really looking forward to going to study, actually. =D i would definitely prefer England. i like the lifestyle there and the people so much. Europe and England are my favorite parts of the world. would so much rather go there to study than any western countries in the Southern Hemisphere.

well....trying and praying and waiting!

hmmm.... life goes on slowly and quietly and CALMLY without my dear Rachael Mia. i miss her very very terribly much!!!! =( sometimes i still tear up when i think of her...

but we email each other and skype and text. so it's ok la. at least she's still within MALAYSIA. =) she's settling in really well there.. HEH. =D happy for her......

well, Sam's back! hehe.... the house is so much noisier with the two boys reunited. lol.

whole family is back in the house once again! what a rare thing... but then....i still get left home alone sometimes! gahh.... like last night.......brothers out to youth...parents out to confirmation. me....alone.at.home. =S i admit...i was kinda scared. heh..... cuz the house is so big.....and sometimes i hear sounds. lol.. i know im just scaring myself though. normally just distract myself by watching tv and eat eat eat EATING. =D

telling myself gotta get used to it if not next time how to live alone in college or after college when i'm outside working?? =S grow up, sarah!

been working in ASAA for about..... one year and 7 months. been enjoying it very much! growing closer to my students everyday. i realized that they actually DO pay attention when i talk. lol.... sometimes the imitate the way i talk....or act. haha..it's kinda cute. will definitely miss them dearly when i go off to study......

la la la...

watched quite a few movies recently. Eclipse and Inception.

well...Eclipse was....hahaa........i'm sad to admit it...but it was kinda disappointing! =( Twilight was SO much better. waiting for the next two movies!

Inception. haha..another surprise. i thought it was a typical "guy" action movie. i thought "oh no...it's gonna be SO boring for me laaaa.."

but actually...i really enjoyed watching it. very interesting.

my normally movie choice is comedy/romance.. =D typical girl hor. but this time......surprised myself and really liked this thriller/sci-fi/action movie.

August is coming soon! heh..... quite a few birthdays in August. =)

not sure what to buy or what to do for those certain people. =.=

little brother has requested so many things for his birthday.......party with his fav food...chocolate cake made by me. =.= and of course he wants this and that for pressie.

he'll be 16 this year lo!! wahh...big boy liao actually. yet we still see him as a baby. sometimes i still think he is 12 or something. hehee....

and another special someone is turning 18 in August. hmmmmmmmm..... what to do what to do? >.<

oh well.....i'm quite hungry. have been craving cendol and coconut pudding for a few days already. hehe..... really gotta have it soon!!

anyone need a pensue??

well before i get to the pensue part.......

yesterday, went with a bunch of students to Taylor College's Learning Circle talk...

hmmm...it's like introducing the college and there were some workshops for us to join.

there were three workshops.

Engineering, Business, & Design.

they diveded us into groups....

then the first workshop i went to was Design.

hmmm...it was ok la. the guy talked a little about design

then he gave us a project.

he played different kinds of music and asked us to draw.....anything. =.=

well.....after that, we moved on to the Business workshop.

ahh...this one i enjoyed super much!

each group was asked to design and sell a pencil.

each group was given 6 pencils, some paper and glue....

and you had to make something...anything...out of it.

and present the product to everyone.

my group........ we created a PENSUE.

(pensue = pencil + tissue)

and we won the challenge... lol.

it's really practical actually..... heh...

if you are writing a love letter to your bf/gf and you start to cry...?

heheheeeee....can terus pull out the tissue from your pencil. =.=

well......had quite a good time with the students.

i seldom take care of the older ones.... we were a bit crazy but it was fun.

up to Heaven....

today......it was probably the happiest day in my teaching experience yet.

I had just read a story to my students in class.. and i asked them to color a picture.

so as they were coloring... suddenly Chen-Chen asked me quietly,

"Teacher.....i want to up with God."

i was like... "WHAT??"

ya, i know his grammar is pretty bad.....but his English improves day by day. =)

then he seemed very shy and i didnt know why. then he said again "how to be up with God?"

i was still quite blur.... that's the result if you dont eat your breakfast! brain cant function properly.so eat breakfast! lol...

then i asked him what he meant...n he asked my how to be with God "up there" after he dies.

wah liao.......so young and think about after die where he wana go.

so i was very happy to explain to him about Heaven and how to go "up there"...

and he prayed and asked Jesus into his heart.

i was so happy...while praying i started to tear up and almost cried.

and after that, little Mel who was also listening to our talk also said she wants to go to Heaven too. so prayed with her also.

i was really overjoyed. could not stop smiling after that.

children may be young and you think they don't know much. but one thing i learnt is that they watch you very carefully and they DO know and absorb alot of information and they understand more than we think they do.

i used to be very doubtful when a little kid makes a decision to accept Jesus. i would think to myself "does he really know what is going on? or is he just doing it to follow his friends......?"

but after teaching my kids... and after hearing their questions about God... and after seeing their faces.. i think that sometimes children are even more sincere and sure in their decisions than adults.

so i hope when they grow up, they will remember this and ask Jesus into their hearts again.

ahhh...... i feel so happy. =D

they can read. (i teach them phonics)

they have Jesus.

my job as a teacher is done. LOL

the past few posts have been mostly pictures.

because, well....i was just too lazy to type much. a picture says a thousand words, right? =D

anyway, thought i might just update with a post FULL of words. although i know most people wont read it. because......i dont normally read people's blog posts that have only...W-O-R-D-S. >.<

anyway, here i go.

i had a really enjoyable weekend.

on saturday, went to GCC's dedication of the new building. loved their performances.

sunday. sunday was a long day.

after church, went to Man Tai for lunch. saw Elysia and her family there. o.0 and saw Ah Jo...he drove by twice just to say hi. hahaa...

in the afternoon..just spent time with Muk Tuk. watching tv is our usual routine. then, went to 1B to help Jack Wong film an advertisement. first time doing such a thing. we kept laughing but it was really fun. after that he belanja us yam cha!! =D cant wait to see the end result.

got home.... rested a while then went to dinner at Funky Town with my little brother, the Cheows, Elysia, Jeffrey, Raymond, Louis, n Felicia. hmm... a really fun night. full of laughs. and the food was really nice... cool. now i know another place to go makan.

after dinner, we bought ice cream and went home to eat ice cream while watching CSI! =D

TODAY!

woke up.....went to school to meet up with some girls for practice.

then got home, ate lunch. and took a really LONG nap. >.<>

and it's raining now. love the rain... but dreading to drive through it later when i gotta go to ballet. ughh...

anyway, i packed for my Bali trip! excited!! i love Bali...... love love love.

looking forward to it. surfing. food. shopping.

that's about it, people.

oh ya...... i emailed them. and,....my future will be known by the end of this week!!! >.< heart beating.......nervous. anticipating the results. gahhhhh....

oh well,.... that's the end of my wordy post.

play date...

the other day... little Mel suddenly asked if i could go to her house to "play"
oh....i was very taken aback. hmmm......me..so old. =X go to her house to play with her. lol

so instead i said she could come to my house..and maybe i will teach her how to bake cookies.

so...today Mel and Ming came to my house.
we baked cookies....

had quite a fun time with them although it was pretty tiring.
they were so talkative as usual just like in school... =.=

will definitely miss all my students when i go off to study.

we went to watch SHREK in 3D...

weee....so happy that GSC Suria Sabah is finally open.
there is no need to drive all the way to 1B just to watch movies liao... =D

field trip... =)

today, brought the students out for a field trip.
where did we go...?

read then you will find out. lol....

left school at about 8.30am.

this is my bunch that i took in the van.
such a noisy group. =X

the greatest thing about bringing little ones on any trip or outing,
is that they get so excited...over the smallest things.
they were really cute.....all excited about our field trip.
with their little caps and sling bags and packed lunches.

well, it was about half an hour's drive....
to.......... UMS!
yes, we brought them to the 'Universiti Malaya Sabah'.

first, we toured the university museum and the gallery.
quite interesting....
then we had a short break to eat.

one of my student's mom gave me a packed lunch.
wow.....i was so touched.
she is korean...so...yeah. she made kimbab for me!! wooo...NICE.
and also oranges nicely sliced and two packs of juice.
really enjoyed it.

after our short break...
we went to walk around the university's big library....

the uni has a kid's library too. they had fun there...

after the library... piled back into the vans and buses...
and went to the university's marine center.
the best part of the trip. =)
the kids enjoyed looking at the fish.. sharks....
turtle..... yes, only one turtle. lol
.....etc.

started going back to school at about 11.45...
reached church at 12.30pm.

was SO TIRED OUT!
bringing kids for an outing is not an easy task.
keeping track of them.. constantly having to count heads to make sure we hadn't lost anyone..
shouting..... holding their hands..
carrying their stuff....
being pulled around when they want to how you something amazing that they saw.


but it was really fun. had a good time with them.....
as i said...it's nice to go with the little ones.
because they get all excited over the smallest things.
like a starfish....or even the books in the kid's library....
and it makes me feel happy and excited with them too. =)

they will shout and pull you to see something that they think is really cool....
like a "Nemo" fish. and eventhough it isn't really that amazing to you, the look on their cute faces
will make you excited and make that little thing seem amazing as if you were seeing it for the first time too.


so yeah.....quite a successful field trip.
