Thessalonica, 20-21 june.

yes yes yes...i know i havent been updating according to the date recently. =X sorry bah..here hard (i mean really HARD!!) to online lorr. sigh.

june 20

we took the train from Athens to Thessalonica. arrived in the afternoon around 4 or 5pm. took a taxi to our hotel - Olympia.
Checked in to our room then went out for a walk...
Thesselonica is a very nice city. It is like Paris, except like..30% less traffic. TONS of shops....like really expensive brand names. and a nice waterfront and lots of classy cafes. But there are less tourists and it is very quiet. I like it here...
ate dinner at a tavern... nice food. then went back to hotel to watched tv and just relax.

june 21

woke up at 8am. we went downstairs to eat breakfast. wow...the best hotel breakfast so far on our trip la. has breads, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, cheeses, hams, cocktail sausages, juices, milk, coffe tea, etc.
i know in malaysia, hotels like Beach Hotel or what....the breakfast is SUPER--buffet with tons of choices of food. (you'll know what i mean if you've stay ther before.) but here....they seldom provide breakfast de...and it is normally just bread and cereal. so guys, dont look down on Malaysia hotels man. it is really good de lorr...
then we walked to church.... a small Anglican church. quite few people...i mean FEW! =S but im glad we got to Anglican church la. sang some familiar songs too so it's comforting. and plus..it's in ENGLISH!

then we walked around the waterfront again....it was quite hot. walked walked walked around the town.. to a big church... to eat snack. =D

got back to the hotel...at about nearly 3pm. then i watched tv till 6pm!! =X and slept till 9pm.
woke up at 9pm..showered and went out for dinner to a near by restaurant. like 2 minutes walked from the hotel.

that's all people.... =)

will be going back to Belgium on tuesday. so i maybe wont update till i get there la...
