Hydra Island

woke up early this morning...

early means 7am.

hey, it's early for me ok!

i know rach wakes up WAY earlier... =X

we walked to the port.. and took the Flying Dolphin to an island-Hydra.

about one and a half hour ride...

reached the island at 10am.

this island has NO cars or motorbikes.

so the people only walk or else ride donkeys..

we went up to a fort to take pics...
see the blue blue water? so nice!
sigh.
couldnt help myself. =D

it was quite cool up on the fort because of the wind..

but apart from that...it was HOT!

island essentials...

our lunch.

Saganaki Shrimp. (not sure how to spell.. =S)

it is big prawns...baked in 5 types of cheese and tomato sauce.

super delicious!

grilled sardines...

okok la...

walking along the tiny streets......

there are a few churches on the small island.. MANY hotels.. restaurants.. souvenir shops..

museums... supermarket.. and even a pet shop!

bought dresses from this lady's shop..

she's British.. married a Greek.

very friendly lady.. her shop everything 50% too.

=D

we went back by boat again at 2.30pm.

reached Pireaus at 5pm!

now we are resting in hotel.. tonight going out to watch a drama in the theater...
