PARIS...day two

today was a long day. we did alot...

first, we took the train to the Eiffel Tower.

then we went on a one hour boat cruise...

could see many sights while on the cruise...

The Museum d'Orsay

The Grand Palace

The National Assembly

The Notre Dame

etc.

awww..romantic hor.

they say this is the most romantic place in Paris...

under the bridge.

when u pass under it make a wish then it will come true wah.....

after the cruise...we walked along the river for about 20 minutes to find the original Statue of Liberty!! much smaller than the one in NY....but very nice.

then we walked around the Latin Quarter.....

ate lunch at a nice French restaurant. 10 euros for a 3 course meal..... very good deal. mine was:: Starter: Mussels cooked in white wine...

Main Course: Chicken with mushroom sauce.

Dessert: Chocolate Crepe..

After eating lunch....we went to the St. Michael fountain... and the Notre Dame.
there were many police and soldiers and even a bomb squad at the Notre Dame. maybe there was a bomb scare or something....
went into the Notre Dame... if you've seen the cartoon Hunch Back of Notre Dame..with the talking gargoyles.. yep....the same place. hehe...

we were very tired so took the Metro back to Gare Du Nord to rest in our hotel for a while....

at about 5 something in the evening....we went out to Montmarte again. Because yesterday was raining so we weren't satisfied. lol.

it was such nice weather today...so warm. didnt need jacket. so wierd hor the weather.... one minute it can be freezing cold...the next minute...you just can wear a t-shirt. sigh.

we took tons of pics at the Montmarte. but not gonna load them now cuz it is already late. i wana sleep...

Montmarte is the place where all the artists are. Painting and drawing portraits and things... very nice place.

we had ice cream... walked around... and had dinner.

3 course meal again...for 14.50 euros. still a good deal la.
i had grilled goat cheese for the starter... beef steak for main course. the steak was not nice. =S so tough n hard to chew... and the dessert was so nice!! it is like yoghurt....with sugar. yumms..

plus the waiter is super cute....i think rach would LOVE to dine at that restaurant. no rach darling...didnt take pic of him. =P

walked back down the hill...and took a bus back to Gare du Nord.

now back at the hotel... it is 1140 at night.. the sky only starting to get dark now. it only gets dark after 10pm here...

oh well....super tired today.

tomorrow is our last day in Paris!!!
